Prologue

Many years ago, before humans inhabited Lunar, they lived on the Blue Star. The Blue Star--the original home to all humans and living creatures--was very peaceful under the watchful eye of the Goddess Althena…until one fateful day.

A dark entity known as Zophar appeared and began wreaking havoc among the blue planet. Nothing seemed to stand up to his great power…that is, nothing except the Goddess. But even so, Zophar’s power was so great, the Goddess was left with little choice...

Using her great powers, she destroyed the Blue Star, which took Zophar with it. The planet became nothing more than a barren wasteland…but there was still hope for those who had survived this monstrosity...

High above the Blue Star loomed another planet. Althena gathered the human survivors into her fortress, which she then used to travel to the small, isolated haven. She held her hand high as a bright light enveloped around her being, and she shed her brilliance onto the planet. It was only a matter of time before the planet began to change--it began to live.

The humans started over anew, living their life on ‘Lunar’ as they would have on the Blue Star. As time went on, the Blue Star and Zophar were slowly forgotten. New legends took place within this world, the most common being that of the Dragonmasters and Dragons, guardians of the Goddess.

But, like the Blue Star and Zophar, the legends too were slowly being forgotten…eventually the Goddess Althena passed on, leaving behind her children--her world.

Soon, the guardian of the Blue Star arrived to Lunar. It was a girl with powers almost second to none to Althena. Her name? Lucia. And she had come to save Lunar…

Zophar was returning to power and in doing so, he stripped Lucia of her power. Zophar eventually revived into Lunar; without the Goddess or Lucia, it seemed this world was doomed to a similar fate to that of the Blue Star.

Fortunately, the children of Althena stepped forward alongside Lucia. They showed Zophar their power--power that Althena blessed each human with. Zophar was once again stopped…hopefully for good this time.

Lucia, Guardian and Princess of the Blue Star, left Lunar soon after the battle. A human boy followed her to the Blue Star; his desire was to stay by her side for the rest of his life.

Zophar was gone now, and the Blue Star was slowly regaining life…yet even 500 years later, it still remains uninhabited…

The Heroes

Name: Kye Luro
Age: 16, turns 17 during the story.

Kye, like our previous heroes of Lunar, longs for adventure and to explore the world. One day, Kye and childhood friends Zack and Lana decide to go search for the fabled Dragonmaster Shrine within the Arhes Mountains. There they find an unconscious silver cat with wings. Kye takes the poor creature in with him soon afterwards. Little does Kye know, everything will soon be changing in his life…

Race: Dragon (though she doesn’t know it at first due to amnesia.)

Almost everything about this strange creature is unknown. And having amnesia doesn’t help any! She was found unconscious during a blizzard in the Arhes Mountains by Kye, who decides to take her in, and the two become close friends. Silver Star differs from our previous winged-cat heroes, being more timid and shy rather outgoing and having the tendency to speak her mind aloud.

Childhood friend, perhaps even surrogate brother to Kye. Zack has always looked up to Kye as the older brother he never had. When Kye is leaving the village, Zack faithfully tags along after him, willing to aid him any way he can. Though only 15, Zack is fairly strong for someone his age due to his blood; being born from a human mother and a beastman father.

Childhood friend of Zack as well as cousin to Kye. Though she is the youngest of the group, she acts as a big sister and watches over the boys, keeping them out of trouble. Of course, things don’t always seem to go her way. She is often left out of the boys’ ‘adventures’, but that does not stop her from following them. Lana’s parents are separated and every year during the summer-time she goes to Meribia to visit her father. It seems this year that Kye and Zack get to escort her to the Mainland for the first time.

Premier to the Magic Guild of Vane and very skilled with magic. Lena is very outgoing and will help all in need and for free, unlike a certain ancestor. Lena tries her hardest to get as many members for the Magic Guild as she can. She decides to travel with Kye and Silver Star in hopes of finding what their looking for, and also for her twin brother who has mysteriously disappeared…

Lena’s twin brother, also very skilled with magic. Miles tries his hardest to prove himself to everyone and he is also greatly jealous of Lena being Premier. He can have a soft side but for the most part, he is rather headstrong.

Known as 'Ren' for short. A spirited girl who never gives up in anything she does. Like her family, she is a Guardian of the Blue Dragon Cave, constantly protecting it from any threatening evil. She specializes in using a rapier as well as water magic. She seems to have a strange connection with Zephyr…

A faithful student of the Vane Magic Guild. She's still a bit of a novice in magic. Aside of Lena, she is the only other person who seems to understand Miles.

Places

Arhes
-A snowy, mountainous village. It’s said that somewhere within the mountains lies the ruins of a Dragonmaster Shrine.

Hayno
-Located in central Caldor. The smallest village of the Isle.

Risano
-The port-town of Caldor Isle. Located to the far South.

Meribia
-The biggest city in all of Lunar. Just like Vane, this city has a rich history of being the home to many great heroes of the past.

Taben’s Peak
-Said to be ruins of an ancient moving castle controlled by the Magic Emperor. This is where Nall and Ruby take care orphan children.

Vane
-A magical city with rich history. It was once a floating city in the sky, but Magic Emperor Ghaleon changed that. It’s been many long and hard years, but Vane is starting to shape up once more. Perhaps it will take its place back in the skies soon enough.

Tael
-A small village to the south, near the Blue Dragon’s Cave.

Sarya
-A dry, mountainous region. Said to be where the Black Dragon Cave resides.

Kadok
-A quiet village in the middle of a forest.

Pilazzo
-The second biggest city/port in all of Lunar. Aside from not having as great a history, Pilazzo doesn’t differ too much from Meribia.

Nazuo
-A port town in the Eastern Regions of Lunar.

Toran
-A small village, east near the volcanic Red Dragon Cave.

Dark Star Tower
-Once said to be the home of the Star Dragon of Lunar as well as the birthplace of Silver Star. This once glorious tower is now overrun with evil.

Salyan Desert
-A desert to the far east of Lunar, bordering the Frontier. It is said the Blue Spire is found within the desert.
