So DA Game? I have no idea...lately I've been...not feeling confidence in anything that I do, lol. Still, maybe I'll come up with something by New Years. I guess we'll see.

I've had a weird week at work, so that just kinda adds to my "fml...." mood. I think only Joe knows about Wednesday night at work...how embarrassing. And then Friday I went to work for not even an hour and felt like dying. Literally. I was sick...it sucked. And my boss was like "You're shakey, you might have low blood sugar. Here's some chocolate." which I threw up about 5 minutes later lulz. So yeah, that was another weird day.

Saturday was alright other than people mentioning Wednesday.

And then yesterday I cut my thumb (right under the nail) with a tag from some pants. It was like a paper cut x3. It sucked, but fortunately it didn't bleed for long. But my thumb was throbbing for a while and it was annoying.

So yeah. It's just been a weird week at work for me. Times like these I wish I had Beatles Rockband.

Looks like my list isn't going to be finished by the end of this month. I have a few sketches in need of lineart and coloring...some reason I just can't bring myself to do anything productive. I apologize to those who always have to wait for something from me. I need to get over this bad.

Not much happening at home other than the kids being here for another good while or so. I'm wondering when my sister and brother-in-law will start parenting their own children. It's a wonder why Grandma's their favorite person.

An advantage of being the youngest. Not going to make the same mistakes my older siblings do. My parents do too much for them as is. But at least my brother seems to show a little more appreciation than my sister does.

Ugh family.

My parents discovered facebook this past week...that's been interesting. They get all excited when it suggests that they might know someone they went to high school with and it turns out to be their BFFs of old. XD God, my dad set a really old photo of him holding me shortly after I was born, with my siblings next to him as his profile picture. Ah parents. Here to embarrass me even on the net. At least I don't look as dorky as my brother does lol. Then again, I'm a newborn.


Izumicon is soon. At this rate, probably doing one, maybe two cosplays. I'll confirm that when I actually get the costumes though, lol.


Thiiiss is about the only thing that's made my day today.

Just a tiny update and reminder about the DeviantART Game(of sorts)

I appreciate everyone who has offered to help in any way! I feel this group project shall be epic.

That being said, here are some more of my thoughts on it.

Even though I'm gonna make this game to celebrate my 5 years...I feel the game itself doesn't have to necessarily revolve around that.

I don't want to feel egotistical. orz

Instead, I want to make something like...for the deviants, by the deviants.

if that makes sense.

So to those who offered to think/write some ideas, I only ask that you keep in mind all the people who will be a part of the game. I understand not everyone exactly knows each other...this might be tedious just yet.

Kay, so I might've mentioned before that I want to make a game of sorts to celebrate my DA anniversary...because I figured that'd be more interesting than a movie/picture. And it'd give me a use for RPG Maker at long last.

To those who read my livejournal, you may already know about this. In which case, that's like...4 people? lmao.

I posted the same thing on facebook too...didn't get much feedback though.

So, I'll just copy and paste some stuff now.




My 5-year DA Anniversary is coming on New Years...I know that's still a ways, but I really wanna make something that's worth it (and also not rushed last minute) and that everyone can seem to enjoy. Not just a simple group picture...like I originally planned lol gotta do something more...hm

If I could animate something (like a little music video) that would be cool...but...I can't animate XD;;; The most I've proven I can do with that so far is blinking and maybe hair...maybe. But yeah...don't know about actual movement of peoples. :< Not quite ready for that...Still trying to get proportions down as is without any movement OTL

and then a random thought came to me today.

RPG Maker LOL I should make a retarded DA-based RPG that features friends and other deviants, whether it be cameo or whatnot.

But how would I go about that? XD;

Text-based, Visual Novel RPG. I'm sure it's simple enough for me to do on RPG Maker without a whole bunch of other scripting. I'd just draw a bunch of pictures and make a bunch of scenarios and stuff...

But still, the question remains...how exactly would I go about this? A DeviantART Text-based-Visual Novel RPG...XD;;;

I don't know OTL But the idea itself still seems interesting and fun to me...It'll help me with RPG Maker in a different way at least (learning to make different events based on certain decisions.)

That DA game is still on my mind...but I'm still lacking on ideas of how it's gonna work. It doesn't need to be extravagant...just a little something simple yet entertaining for people. I also lack good humor though :<

I need a basic plot...the only thing I've come up with is "One day, Steph logged onto DA...and suddenly was zapped into a parallel world. (lame) To find her way out, she had to explore this strange maze of a world..." and from there just make different routes you choose to take. (the game will probably have multiple endings. cause those are fun.)

Throughout this 'maze' are many windows, leading to a sort of subspace, featuring a certain deviant. Say Elaine for example (if I do decide to go through with this idea and ask permission of course) her 'subspace' would feature her characters she's created and shown throughout DA and you'll be able to talk with them and maybe they'll help you out in return or something.

That's the only idea I've come up with so far...I'm not too fond of it, but if I can't think of anything better closer to time, then it's probably gonna stick.

Still, I kinda want to feature all my DA friends (which include some that don't really draw or anything..) so I'm not entirely sure of the 'subspace' thing.





So yeah.

To those who are new/don't know--despite what my DA page says, I consider January 1st my DA Anniversary. I joined in August, but was too afraid to really upload anything until the next year, when my friend encouraged me finally.

Why a Visual Novel/Text-Based RPG? It'll get me to draw more. At least, that's what I'm aiming for. Plus, I thought it'd be more interesting than the usual running around and fighting baddies RPG.

pleasepleaseplease comment and give out some ideas of your own! It can be completely different from mine, I don't care...as long as it can somehow involve anyone who has a DA account!

I don't want to work entirely alone on this...

That being said, comment NOW if you want to take part of this game. If I consider you a friend, then you're more than likely already going to be a part of the game in someway. But this isn't just for me and my friends--this is for all deviants who watch me.

The past two days or so I've had a major toothache...It's a cavity, I know it is. I can kinda feel it (and even see it when I look in a mirror). It's not pretty either. I don't remember the last time I've been to a dentist. Hopefully I can get an appointment next week though...cause it's getting increasingly harder to eat (its my far, left back tooth.) orz I have to chew with the right side of my mouth, but even then it still hurts.

Beat Crisis Core. Awesome game...the ending was depressing (if you've played FFVII you already know what happens) but the final bits were really beautifully done if you ask me. I love Zack's last few lines...I love Zack. ;_; WHY.

Started playing Dissidia. Can't say I'm real good at fighting games, but I guess I'm getting a little better. XD;; I've been playing the story mode in order, though not necessary but I'm just weird like that. I'm about mid-way with Bartz (numero V) omg the pronunciation of some of these names though! Wtf.

.............I seem to have forgotten to make a journal here saying that I would be in Florida for the next week, lulz.

But anyways...I'm on vacation. Until...next Tuesday? Then I come back home and resume my normal schedule about things. Fun.

We got here Monday afternoon...can't say we've done a whole lot. Rested up from driving overnight. Today my dad and I were supposed to go fishing off the pier at Pensacola Beach, but my dad's sick. (well, he says he feels fine, but he has a real horrible cough.) so things are still uneventful. My grandpa took him to the doctor, so now I'm just chilling with my mom and grandma.

Hopefully tomorrow. I miss the ocean. orz I'll probably record random videos of me and dad when we do finally go to the beach/pier.

I don't know how much I'll be online while I'm here. I usually don't do much on the internet cause issues in the past with my grandpa. NOTHING ON THE INTARWEBZ IS SAFE. He's real anal about that shit. I don't bother to argue, cause he's the type that's 'always right' and won't stop until you agree with him.

gah, he's said a few things these past few days that have kinda irked me......let's just say he's hardcore republican. hardcore. so obviously we think very differently...though he's not quite aware of it, lulz.
